What customers say?

“ During our week in Paris, friends had a one night stay at Charles de Gaulle airport waiting for a flight back to the US. We wanted to get together for dinner without them having to make the trek into Paris on the eve of their early morning flight. Luckily, I found the Auberge duTourlourou in an internet search and made a reservation via e-mail. The husband and wife team provided excellent food from the kitchen and a warm welcome in the dining room. It was a completely memorable evening on all levels. Why anyone would think of eating airport food when this gem is a ten minute taxi ride away is a mystery! ”

“ The most authentic food you'll ever have near Roissy-en-France. This mix of high-end and mom and pop's restaurant gives you the whole French experience at a reasonable price, and with the high quality that you'll never find in the tourist traps that invade Paris. My wife and I had such a romantic dinner! The owners went above and beyond to help us understand the menu, giving us great suggestions and making us feel so welcomed. The food was creative, tasteful and generous. We had the menu meals, which are generous and delicious. Even if the wines may seem a bit pricey, they are so worth it to accompany your food. You'll still get a great deal for the quality of the food and service received. They even gave my wife a rose as a goodbye souvenir . A must visit when you're near the Paris area! ”

“ I have a few hours to spare at CDG, so I tried this place. This is a review from an American perspective since I currently work in US. The vibe is cozy but the server is professional and made sure everything is great. I came at lunch hour and the restaurant is completely empty for some reason, so I had their undivided attention for sure. The restaurant is small and too quiet, so a bit of music could have liven up the place. Almost a perfect vibe after a long trip. Food is great. I went with their recommendation and got some prawns in sauce, lamb, and a banana-y dessert. This is some of the best prawns I have seen - sweet, soft, subtle but mesh well with the pork and cheese sauce and red wine. The lamb chop slice like butter and pair well with the sauce they made. The mash potatoes, mushrooms and gratin goes nicely as well. The final banana cake has a light crunch on top while the rest is so incredibly airy soft. The cake vanishes in seconds. The sever is friendly and we had a pleasant chat. I felt attended to yet have just enough personal time to enjoy my food. Would recommend. ”

“ Listen, if you are staying overnight at the airport before your flight the next morning, don't settle for mediocre hotel food. Take the 12€ Uber ride here and have one of the best meals of your life. That's what we did. Michel helped us with the menu and the words we didn't know in French. We tried the Menu Deccouvert with the added cheese plate (please don't skip the cheese plate). You get to pick from a small selection of a starter, a main course, and dessert. The cheese addition is from a huge tray of many different cheeses, and you can pick three (that was the hardest part of the night). Michel helped us pick a lovely bottle of wine to go with our choices. I've never had foie gras before, and I'm glad it was here that I first tried it. Every item we ate was special. Michel was attentive and helpful. The place was pretty empty on a Friday night with just us and one other table. It was so relaxed and beautiful. It was certainly one of the top meals of my life and I'm so glad we ended our trip here. Don't miss out, just go here and enjoy your evening. ”
